3 Years?! For what...

Well if you guys know me, or have read a bit more of my blog you know that I am OBSESSED with music, I've loved it since the tender age of 3 or 4. I was constantly bouncing around to tunes and attempting to sing (please note I said ATTEMPT because I was rubbish at singing back then.) But what really got me passionately in love with music were my little girls, Little Mix! Inserting a whole collage of pictures...

If you don't know who they are then they are part of the BEST GIRL BAND IN THE UK (for me... the world, but it's arguable.) I have loved these girls since they pretty much released the 'Wings' music video.
They are a put-together band (they were put together by Simon Cowell on the X-Factor) but they are the bestest of friends and don't look like they're going to split up anytime soon *shade intended*

I have defended them many times on YouTube when people compare them to Fifth Harmony. I think that they all love their fans and for God's sake they are the group act to win the X Factor... WIN!! So don't think of 1D, they didn't even come 2nd...Sorry...

I really love them so much and they have inspired me so much, they have taught me to love myself. I don't have a current favourite, but obviously when I was just starting to watch them I thought Jade was my favourite. But now I see the girls are all beautiful and their voices  are S-T-U-N-N-I-N-G!!!!
Uhhh.... my dream is if Little Mix saw this O_O they will not but just dreaming <3

Anyway, I just wanted to make this blog post to clarify how much I love Little Mix... Unfortunately, I haven't attended any of their concerts or their tours :( But I wish too x

Anyway see you guys later...

"Invisible Disabilities"

Hey guys, I have been thinking for a while what I want to post about and I think I want to talk about "invisible disabilities" these are things that infect us on the inside and doesn't really make us LOOK different.
These things consist of: autism, bipolar depression and anxiety... The last two are quite common and everyone experiences it once in their lifetime but get it in different ways, I will go through what each of them impact and how to deal with them.

Bipolar

Bipolar is a mental illness like all of these and it's named after the two poles - you're either on the top of the world or the bottom. This means at times you could be on a high and really happy and laughing and then at other times you could be really depressed.

A way to tackle this is to consistently take lithium (a medicine that fights against bipolar) and don't stop them. Lithium is always prescribed by a doctor and don't take them less or more than needed. If you stop taking lithium you can become extremely ill and in extreme cases may be life threatening.

Autism

Autism is a lifelong disability which impacts how they communicate with others and their sense of the outside world. They may start later than other children to start talking, some start as late as 3 or 4. They also may fidget a lot and struggle to keep still.

Autism is something harder to deal with, but just always tell some responsible adult how you're feeling and don't turn down someone who is trying to help.

Depression and anxiety

Depression and Anxiety are kind of linked but impact people differently. For anxiety you're more nervous and depression you're more sad. Just tell someone about it and speak up and you'll get over it, you guys are strong and I know it.

Lots of love,

How To Pick A Prom Dress

Yes I am a British girl but I do know what prom is. And I just think it would make an interesting post and I really like looking for dresses. So, prom season is coming up anyway and many people are going to prom and if you guys have a date then WHOOP WHOOP for you. Congrats :)
But if you don't then, yay you're part of the lonely club - the club that I'm president of :D I'm hilarious I know xD

But let me give you some tips for picking a prom dress...

1) Go with your date
This is not a dried food thingy or something you find on your calendar, it's the person you are going with to your prom... Your boyfriend whatever! xD But then you can get your opinions.
If your date is not around then a best friend who knows you well will also be great! Probably even better.

2) Always go to shops to buy it... Not online
Many people buy lots of things online, but prom dresses should not be on that list, it's something very important that makes a statement about you and you don't want to buy it and find the waist too tight or something similar. Go to the shops because there you can actually try it on and feel the material and see how it feels on you before you even buy it.

Also sometimes colours look more subtle online... say a baby pink and then when you order it you see it's pure fuchsia xD! So that's my tip... Just buy it at the store... And it's more fun.

3) Know what colours suit you
Depending on skin tone, eye colour and hair colour different colours will suit you (are you more warm or more cool) and you must know... I will insert a quiz here so you can check what colours suit you:
http://www.popsugar.com.au/beauty/Take-Our-Quiz-Determine-Which-Colours-Suit-Your-Skin-Tone-23151188

I did the quiz and I am a cool person... If you're cool this is what is said:Try sticking to jewel-toned makeup and clothing, including blue, purple, blue-green, green, magenta, and bluish-red shades. For foundation, you'll probably look best in formulations with a bluish or pink undertone. And be sure to reach for the black mascara when it comes to eye makeup; it's sure to make your eyes pop.

If you're a warm person it said:
Try sticking to earthier makeup and clothing, such as yellow, orange, brown, orangey-reds, and yellow-green shades. For foundation, you'll probably look best in formulations with a yellow or golden undertone. And be sure to reach for the deep brick-red lipstick when it comes to a night out on the town; it's sure to make your complexion pop.

Sometimes this doesn't always work out with your make up but it's usually correct when it comes to dress colours.

4) HAVE FUN WITH WHAT YOU CHOOSE
Don't let other people hold you down, if you feel and think you look great then go with it and don't hold back. You want to stand out not stay with people with the same style of dress and colour. You are an amazing human being and you have your own style - not restrict yourself.

Cheesy again! Yas I'm very good at that.

Anyway I can't wait to see you again,
Lots of Love,
-Yosra- xox

Overview of my blog

Hello guys, thank you for being part of my journey so far and so far it's been amazing, I have loved making this blog for you and I'm going to do a quick overview, so far it has been around 10 months I've had this blog and I will post a 1 year anniversary of my blog on the 8th of June.

I love writing a blog for people, and even though they may not be regulars, it just makes me glad hat someone is watching and giving time to read this and view it.

So I have a few number for y'all: So I have 41 posts and with all their views added all together is approximately 1230, so far! This is around 30 a post. I'm extremely glad with this guys :) I can't really say how many views a month because it doesn't really show but my estimate is 100-200 pageviews.

So I just wanted to thank you guys for being part of this amazing part of my life, I hope I never stop making this blog because it truly makes me really happy and it's just fascinating getting views. Obviously, I'm not going to get Zoella or Pewdiepie views overnight but I'm going to be working on it and I hope I can start getting views like them. But the best part of this all, is making people smile and just having people like me even though they don't know who I am.

I hope I can find time to make more blog posts more frequently, and I really want to get into a habit of posting because I don't want to let people down when I forget. I legit think that I'm going to make a reminder for each week so I don't forget to post because - if you know me - I am a very forgetful person... If my mum read this she'll be nodding so hard, I forget all the time you know!

But posting blogs has almost become a part of me, I enjoy doing it! This is getting a bit repetitive, right? So yaaaaaah!!!

Shout out: +Sneha Bhose Happy birthday to you, it's her birthday and she's such an awesome person, go follow her and send her happy birthdays! She's a lovely friend to me <3 Love youuu xx

Mushy post... But who cares. Love you guys, don't forget to 1'd and share this post and follow me on Google+ to be notified when I post something... And till next time bye guys.

Top 10 Songs... Part 2

*This post is not sponsored by anybody

Hey guys, it's me again and as you know I have previously done a post called my "top 10 songs" back in December I think and I loved making it so I thought that I would make it again. Whoop whoop! So without much further ado let's get on with this post :)

10) 7 Years - Lukas Graham

Position on the charts right now: 2nd
Release date of music video : November 18th 2015
This song is so good with a good rhythm and meaning, it's such a sweet and heartwarming song with well written lyrics... But I've heard it so much it's annoying that's why it's Number 10 for me!

9) Lush Life - Zara Larsson

Position on the charts right now: 3rd
Release date of music video: July 1st
God Zara is so pretty and I love her music, it's so catchy and I love the video so much it's so colourful. She's a new favourite singer for me and I have a feeling she's going to make it big. But once again I've listened to it so much it's kind of repetitive and annoying... But I still enjoy listening to this song!

8) Stitches - Shawn Mendes

Position on the charts right now: 8th
Release date of music video: June 24th 2015
Is amazing how Shawn has made fame in so little time and he's so young, his songs are so catchy and I love them. The video is slightly strange but I still love his voice!

7) PILLOWTALK - ZAYN

Position on the charts right now: 12th
Release date of the music video: January 28th 2016
This song and video surprised me so much, we are all used to Zayn being a teenager singing songs about crushes and now he's grown and matured into this! His song is amazingly written and I have to congratulate him for his upcoming album and his cute relationship with Gigi.

6) Dangerous Woman - Ariana Grande

Position on the charts right now: 17th
Release date of video: Not released yet
Release date of audio: March 11th 2016
Look! It's Ariana Grande in bunny ears she's so glam OMG! I love her vocals and the way she sings is stunning, I cannot wait for the music video!

5) Hello

Position on the charts right now: 32nd
Release date of music video: October 22nd 2015
Yes she is still on here, her vocals are stunning and she's grown and she's still the lovely Adele we all know and love. I remember when my mum had her older songs on her phone and I used to listen to them all the time and try to sing like her. Once I asked my mum "Do I sing like Adele?"
And my mum said "No one can sound like Adele" and she's right!

4) Hands To Myself - Selena Gomez

Position on the charts right now: 21st
Release date of music video: January 20th 2016
Selena Gomez is getting better and better with each song and she's grown so confident and she's maturing so much. Hands to myself is a wonderful song but the video is probably not suitable for the younger viewers. Hehe :D

3) Here - Alessia Cara

Position on the charts right now: Not in top 40
Release date of music video: May 26th 2015
Alessia Cara is such a new artist and she's so amazing and she can sing anything at all. Her vocals are stunning and I love the video, she's such a brilliant musician and deserved to have the success that she's currently having.

2) Work - Rihanna

Position on the charts right now: 5th
Release date of music video: February 22nd 2016
Rihanna is an amazing artist, she's finally had another big single "work" her album "ANTI" is brilliant... and once again her lyrics and video is explicit so younger viewer's discretion is advised.
LOL ;P

1) Work From Home - Fifth Harmony

Position on the charts right now: 4th
Release Date of the music video: February 26th 2016
Don't even get me started on this song... IT'S A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!! It's got an amazing beat and I love dancing to it! They're all gorgeous and the tune is so catchy. I love 5H and their vocals!! Aaaaah WORK FROM HOME IS A PENG TUNE!!!

So guys I hope you liked me freaking out over Fifth Harmony and their new song! If you liked this post remember to 1'd it and share it :)

The World Has Been Taken Over By Omeada

So today this post is taken by my very cute pretty friend Omeada I hope you like this

Hello people of the world,

Yosra is very annoying you guys thing she is a little angel but she's NOT she is evil she is a little devil.

But that is why she is our friend so for god's sake do want your meant to do to send her posts life is a dark spell which u cant escape so live how u want to live and don't be a judge mental.

From Omeada,

btw yosra is a neek

That is why she is our best friend one more tip don't try to be someone else be you that's how you get true friend

something that yosra wanted to say:

So yeah guys, I just got this really brilliant (not) idea to let one of my friends Omeada to take over my post. Obviously, there were a few squabbles during the way. But I am looking to allow my other BEST FRIEND Ayesha to take control too.

Lots of love,
Yosra Chalhani xx

And follow me on Google+: Sweet Kawaii and Musical.ly: Yosraaaxox to become part of my Y-Crew.

Love y'all x

Frienemies

This is dedicated to:
Ayesha, Omeada, Zera, Annie, Hafsa, Hanan, Komal, Samia, Afrina, Yasmin and Rhea
(That's a lot of people but trust me they are my absolute best friends)

I think that I am pretty qualified to talk about friends as I've had many experiences with them - both good and bad ;p

But I don't think I can live without my friends, they mean the absolute world to me and I cannot dream of leaving them. I will go through my experiences with friends, and I hope you guys can relate to my experiences. If you enjoy this post don't forget to 1'd this post and share it :) And you can recommend anything you want in the comment section.

So let's get on with this post:

1) Jealousy

I know this sounds weird, but if you have best friend you can get very jealous when they hang out with others. Sometimes you don't mean it but you just do! You just want them for yourself I guess... and that doesn't always happen because people move on. I've broken up with friends because of my uncontrollable jealousy... I'm not proud of it LOL xD
Sometimes just remember that your friends and your friends for a reason, it's because you're an amazing person and you deserve to be loved - just don't be jealous.

2) Friends of friends
Friends of friends can be quite annoying because they always hang out with the people you love the most and you feel left out... I understand this! Just try and make friends with them and don't try and get under their feet - it doesn't get you anywhere.
You know the saying... The more the merrier. I've had the feeling this new girl came into my class and she started hanging out with my friends and I felt so upset! But I made friends with her and now she's great fun to hang out with!

3) Old Friends
This is when you've moved school or something and you've got your friend's number and stuff... But you're losing touch... You're trying not to lose her but you just are and it's upsetting you because you've been friends with her for so long and you don't think it's time to give them up. Even if they've lost you... You don't want to lose them. All I can say about this one is...
...People are going to come and go in your life and you will always find better people, you can hang onto the memories and those are the things that matter to most and they are going to last longer than any friendship or relationship and you are strong my little Y-Crew :)

So yeah guys, this was a very mushy post but you guys deserve a mushy post hahaha XD Love y'all and don't forget to 1'd and share this post and follow me on G+

My Favourite Books So Far!

Disclaimer: None of these authors or anyone have asked me to say good things about these books and all these opinions are my own.

So if you guys know me, you will know that I really love books and enjoy reading them - many of these books were released a while ago, but I was waiting for some really good books to come up to show you guys.

1) Love Tanya - +Tanya Burr
This is a magnificent book made by one of my favourite YouTubers - Tanya Burr. She has such a way with words and I enjoyed this book so much. It's more like a guide kind of book, with many tips and recipes along the way. It's so heart-warming and if you like these kind of books you will definitely enjoy this, she's also such a beautiful person. My age rating for it is 10+
Go check out her YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/user/pixi2woo

2) Girl Online: On Tour - +Zoella
I promise not all of these are YouTuber's books, but this book is magnificently written I just had to include it. As you know I did a book review of the first book of Girl Online and it was beautiful and I read the second one a while back and I found it absolutely amazing and I just had to include it.

It's about a girl called Penny and her rock star boyfriend Noah who is going on tour and Penny goes along with him. There are a lot of ups and downs and fame is putting strain on their relationship. I just love the characters Penny and Noah and find them just #CoupleGoals! I find that Zoe has such a way with words and her books just take you on an adventure. I definitely recommend this book :)
My age rating for this is 11+
Check out Zoe's channel: https://www.youtube.com/user/zoella280390

3) The Chocolate Box Girls: Summer's Dream - Cathy Cassidy
I am completely in love with Cathy Cassidy's books, they are amazingly thought through and I think this is my favourite. All the other girls have their own books (Marshmellow Skye/Cherry Crush/Sweet Honey/Coco Caramel.) It's a book about anxiety, depression and anorexia. This girl, Summer, is such an amazing ballet dancer and has the chance of a life time to win a scholarship to a great ballet school. But then she starts suffering from anorexia. It's such a beautiful story, it will make you smile and cry.
My age rating for this is 10+

4) The Hobbit - J.R.R. Tolkien
This book may not please everybody's tastes, but it's well written. It's about a hobbit (a made up creature just like dwarves and elves) having to go on an adventure with some a wizard called Gandalf and some dwarves. It's very upbeat and keeps you on your toes, everything is very unexpected and WARNING: it draws you in!!!
Age Rating: 12+ Some violence... I dunno :D

5) Secrets and Dreams - Jean Ure
This is my final book, it's a beautiful book about a girl called Zoe and her parents win the lottery. They get to choose one big thing each and Zoe chooses to go to boarding school. She meets this girl called Rachel who is very peculiar and they seem to have made a friendship straightaway, the others find her a little odd and Rachel isn't that keen. Until she goes to Rachel's home and Zoe notices something isn't at all normal in Rachel's home.
I just love this, it's so full of friendship and love and it's just a rollercoaster.
Age rating: 8+

So guys, that's my book review, I hope you liked it.
